Revises rules on compensation for student athletes' names, images, and likenesses.
Revises provisions relating to intercollegiate athletics. Allows student athletes to enter into contracts for compensation for the use of their name, image, or likeness with organizations other than their institution or a national collegiate athletic association. Prohibits institutions and associations from preventing athletes from being compensated, obtaining professional services, or altering scholarships based on compensation. Effective July 1, 2025.
