Nevada SB27 revises provisions relating to museums by renaming the Nevada State Museum in Las Vegas to the Nevada State Museum in Boulder City and the Nevada State Museum in Carson City to the Nevada State Museum in Carson City. The bill updates the duties of the Board of Museums and History, including establishing policies and charges for services provided by the Division and its institutions. It also revises the powers and duties of the Administrator, museum directors, and the Nevada Historical Society. The bill becomes effective on July 1, 2025.
