Nevada SB262 revises provisions relating to graduate medical education by transferring the administration of the Graduate Medical Education Grant Program from the Office of Science, Innovation and Technology to the Department of Health and Human Services. The bill expands the purposes for which institutions may receive grants to include those training a number of residents that exceeds the maximum number of full-time equivalent resident positions for which the institution receives payments from Medicare.
