Nevada SB152 allows electric vehicle charging stations in common-interest communities.
Nevada SB152 amends Chapter 116 of the Nevada Revised Statutes to allow unit owners and occupants to install and maintain electric vehicle charging stations in their exclusive areas. The bill also permits associations to install charging stations in common areas without owner approval, provided the location is not being used for recreation and complies with zoning ordinances. Installation in common areas is not considered a change in use, commercial use, or capital improvement.
