Introduced Text

SB151 revises provisions for manufactured home parks, including rent increases, tenant rights, and landlord responsibilities.

SB151 amends Nevada law to regulate manufactured home parks. It prohibits landlords from increasing rent for month-to-month tenancies unless the increase does not exceed the maximum annual rent increase percentage. The Division of the Department of Business and Industry must calculate this percentage annually based on the Consumer Price Index. Landlords can apply for exemptions if operating costs exceed potential earnings. Tenants must pay for capital improvements if given 60 days' notice.
