Nevada SB148 would allow veterans who served on a unit awarded the Presidential Unit Citation to apply for special license plates.

Nevada SB148 would amend state law to allow veterans who served on a unit awarded the Presidential Unit Citation to apply for special license plates. The bill would require the Department of Motor Vehicles to create unique license plate designs for each branch of the Armed Forces based on the service ribbon for the Presidential Unit Citation. Veterans who qualify for the special plates can apply for up to two sets of plates for private passenger vehicles, noncommercial trucks, or motor homes.
