Nevada SB120 revises provisions relating to the administration of justice by allowing courts to impose fines, administrative assessments, fees, or other monetary penalties under certain circumstances. It mandates that courts allow individuals to enter into payment plans to pay all or any part of such penalties. The bill prohibits courts from ordering defendants for whom an attorney is appointed at public expense to pay any part of the expenses incurred by the county, city, or State in providing the defendant with an attorney.
