SB108

Revises provisions governing the Account for the Channel Clearance, Maintenance, Restoration, Surveying and Monumenting Program. (BDR 48-88)

Complete·6/6/25

SB108 revises the Account for the Channel Clearance, Maintenance, Restoration, Surveying and Monumenting Program to increase the balance threshold.

SB108 amends the Account for the Channel Clearance, Maintenance, Restoration, Surveying and Monumenting Program by raising the balance threshold for requesting funds from the Contingency Account to $500,000. Previously, the threshold was $250,000. This change ensures that only uncommitted funds in the Account are considered when calculating the balance. The State Engineer is required to request funds from the Contingency Account if the balance in the Account falls below the new threshold. This bill becomes effective on July 1, 2025.
