SB106

Prohibits operating a vessel at speeds over 5 nautical miles per hour within 600 feet of Lake Tahoe's shoreline.

This bill amends Nevada law to prohibit operating a vessel or permitting it to be operated at a speed exceeding 5 nautical miles per hour within 600 feet of Lake Tahoe's shoreline. It also updates references to current ordinances of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, replacing outdated ones. The bill specifies that peace officers can issue educational materials, oral advisories, or warning citations for violations of these updated ordinances. The changes become effective upon passage and approval.
