AJR9

Nevada AJR9 urges Congress to prohibit U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers from entering schools and places of worship to enforce.

Nevada AJR9 calls on Congress to pass legislation that would prevent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers from entering schools and places of worship to enforce immigration laws. The resolution argues that such activities disrupt learning and religious environments, and interfere with students' and worshipers' activities. It emphasizes the importance of equal access to education and the sanctity of places of worship, and directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to send a copy of the resolution to the Vice President, the Speaker of the House, and the Nevada Congressional Delegation.
