Nevada ACR5 directs the Joint Interim Standing Committee on Government Affairs to conduct a study on federal officials' activities related to immigration law enforcement in the state. The study must review relevant data and information and recommend legislation to ensure federal officials comply with state laws. Any proposed legislation must be approved by a majority of the Senate and Assembly members on the committee. The committee must submit a report of the study and recommendations to the 84th Session of the Nevada Legislature.
