Nevada AB85 authorizes the management of designated invertebrates by the Board of Wildlife Commissioners and the Department of Wildlife.

Nevada AB85 amends existing law to include designated invertebrates in the management of wildlife by the Board of Wildlife Commissioners and the Department of Wildlife. The bill defines "designated invertebrate" as any nonpest species of invertebrate designated as a species of greatest conservation need in the State Wildlife Action Plan. It revises the definition of "wildlife" to include designated invertebrates and establishes a wildlife classification for them.
