Nevada AB8 modifies the financial administration rules for state officers, departments, and commissions. It mandates that the State Treasurer designate financial institutions for money deposits. State entities must deposit $10,000 or more within 10 working days, except for child support payments which must be deposited within 2 working days if the obligee is identified or returned to the payor if not. The Division of Welfare and Supportive Services must deposit child support payments within 5 working days if the obligee is not identified within 2 working days.
