Nevada AB70 revises energy tax abatement rules for renewable facilities.
Nevada AB70 amends existing law to require the Director of the Office of Energy to consider written comments from the board of county commissioners when reviewing applications for partial tax abatements by renewable energy facilities. The bill mandates that the Director provide the board an opportunity to submit comments and consider those comments in the decision-making process. This change applies to the definitions and provisions related to partial tax abatements for certain renewable energy projects.
