Establishes the Nevada Baby Bonds Program to credit $3,200 to each beneficiary's trust fund account.
The Nevada Baby Bonds Program, administered by the State Treasurer, credits $3,200 to a trust fund account for each designated beneficiary born in Nevada on or after January 1, 2026, whose birth was covered by Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program. If funds are insufficient, the State Treasurer selects beneficiaries by lottery. Beneficiaries can claim their funds if they are at least 18 but less than 30 years old, have been Nevada residents for at least 12 months, attest to using the funds for postsecondary education, home purchase, business start-up, or investment, and complete.
