AB523

Revises provisions relating to transportation. (BDR 57-1138)

Complete·5/19/25

Nevada AB523 revises transportation laws, reducing insurance requirements and limiting liability for delivery network companies.

Nevada AB523 amends transportation regulations by lowering the minimum insurance requirement for transportation network companies from $1,500,000 to $1,000,000. It also exempts delivery network companies from vicarious liability for drivers' actions or omissions that harm people or property, provided these companies maintain a casualty insurance policy. This bill does not alter other liability theories or remedies available under law. It defines "delivery services" as item deliveries through a digital network within 50 miles of the pick-up location.
