AB504

Establishes certain deceptive trade practices relating to the sale of or an offer to sell certain hemp products. (BDR 56-867)

Complete·6/11/25

Nevada AB504 establishes deceptive trade practices for selling certain hemp products without a cannabis establishment license.

Nevada AB504 amends existing law to require individuals or entities without a cannabis establishment license to display a sign at the sales location stating they do not hold such a license and the location is not a cannabis establishment. The bill also prohibits these sellers from making false, misleading, or deceptive statements in advertising regarding their license status or the nature of the hemp products. Violations of these requirements constitute deceptive trade practices, subject to civil and criminal penalties.
