Nevada AB492 amends existing limousine regulations by allowing limousine operators in counties with a population of 700,000 or more to lease their vehicles to independent contractors. The bill requires these operators to enter into lease agreements approved by the Nevada Transportation Authority. It imposes certain requirements and restrictions on both the operators and independent contractors, including safety standards and liability insurance. Independent contractors must also collect a technology fee for each trip.
