Revises provisions relating to forensic mental health in Nevada. Amends existing law to allow a court to order the involuntary court-ordered admission of a defendant to a public or private mental health facility under certain circumstances. Requires the court to order the involuntary admission if the defendant is found to be a danger to himself or herself or to society, and that commitment is required for a determination of the defendant’s ability to receive treatment to competency and to attain competence.
