Nevada AB416 amends provisions concerning access to library materials in schools. It prohibits the board of trustees, governing body of a charter school, or school employees from limiting pupil access to library materials. Access can be restricted if it imposes a reasonable restriction, preserves safety, or is a maintenance policy. The bill also makes it a crime to disseminate personal identifying information or sensitive information of school members or pupils with intent to cause harm.
