AB374

Nevada AB374 requires school districts and charter schools to establish a monthly mental health workshop for pupils.

Nevada AB374 mandates that the board of trustees of each school district and the governing body of each charter school establish an age-appropriate curriculum for workshops to promote mental health. These workshops must be provided to pupils in kindergarten and grades 1 to 12 each month. The curriculum is to be coordinated by school counselors, school psychologists, school social workers, or the designated school safety specialist. The workshops aim to promote positive mental health, address immediate needs and concerns of pupils, and provide individualized feedback.
