Nevada AB328 establishes the Commission on Racial Equity and Social Justice, consisting of nine members appointed by various authorities, to study the economic, political, social, educational, and historical impacts of racial discrimination in Nevada. The Commission will make recommendations to the 84th Session of the Nevada Legislature on methods to educate the public, advance racial healing, and determine if rehabilitation or restitution is warranted. The Board of Regents of the University of Nevada must provide administrative support to the Commission.
