AB302

Establishes provisions relating to facility dogs. (BDR 4-489)

Failed·5/17/25

Nevada AB302 establishes provisions for facility dogs in public accommodations and transportation.

Nevada AB302 mandates that places of public accommodation and common carriers must admit individuals accompanied by facility dogs or facility dogs in training. It prohibits these entities from refusing service or charging additional fees for such dogs. The bill also requires courts to allow witnesses who are minors or vulnerable persons to use facility dogs for support during testimony in criminal or abuse/neglect proceedings, unless it prejudices the defendant or interferes with their constitutional rights.
