Waives state business license fees for veterans and gold star family members.
Nevada AB274 requires the Secretary of State to waive the fee for the issuance of a state business license for eligible veterans, gold star family members, and businesses where at least 51 percent is owned by such individuals. The waiver applies to licenses issued on or after July 1, 2025. An eligible veteran is defined as a resident who retired from the Armed Forces after 20 or more years of creditable service or due to a physical disability. A gold star family member is a resident related by blood, marriage, or adoption to a member of the Armed Forces.
