Nevada AB225 revises provisions relating to licensing of certain professions and occupations. It exempts certain apprenticeship programs from specific training requirements and allows them to count toward licensing. The bill also removes certain medical examinations and certifications for applicants. It modifies the definition of cosmetology to exclude shampoo technology, hair braiding, and makeup artistry. Additionally, it exempts certain practices from licensing requirements. The bill updates the fees for examinations and licenses and adjusts the expiration dates of licenses.
