AB196

Nevada AB196 revises psychology practice regulations, including complaint filing timelines and business entity registration requirements.

Nevada AB196 amends provisions governing psychology practice. It prohibits filing a complaint with the Board if three or more years have passed since the alleged act or omission. It repeals requirements for firms, partnerships, or corporations to register with the Board if they engage in psychology practice. The Board is authorized to adopt regulations allowing a licensed psychologist to supervise unlicensed personnel performing certain psychological tests, who can then use the title "psychometrist." The Board must retain all complaints for at least ten years.
