Nevada AB181 provides immunity from civil liability for returning a firearm to its owner under specific conditions.

Nevada AB181 extends immunity from civil liability to individuals returning a firearm to its owner under certain circumstances. This includes transfers at shooting ranges, lawful competitions, hunting or trapping, and in the presence of the owner. The bill also exempts certain transfers from background check requirements, such as those made to prevent imminent harm or under a firearm hold agreement. The immunity applies to actions occurring on or after October 1, 2025.
