Nevada AB18 revises provisions for the electronic filing of certain documents in judicial proceedings. It allows court clerks to accept electronically filed complaints, information, motions, notices, and other legal documents. These documents must contain an electronic signature of the person filing them. The bill also mandates that court clerks acknowledge receipt of electronically filed documents with an electronic time stamp and return them to the prosecuting attorney.
