Complete·5/28/25

Nevada AB136 mandates animal shelters and commercial establishments to post notices about reporting animal cruelty.

Nevada AB136 revises provisions relating to animals by requiring the owner or operator of an animal shelter or any commercial establishment engaged in the business of selling or displaying animals to the public or allowing animals to interact with members of the public to post a notice near the animal's enclosure. The notice informs the public that if they know or have reason to believe an animal is in danger, is being treated poorly, or has been subjected to an act of cruelty, they may contact the local animal control authority.
