Nevada AB11 revises the Department of Taxation's budget submission schedule to the Nevada Tax Commission.
Nevada AB11 changes the timing for the Department of Taxation to submit its proposed budget and legislation to the Nevada Tax Commission. Instead of submitting in June of even-numbered years, the Department must now submit in January of odd-numbered years. This bill also modifies the meeting schedule for the Commission to accept the budget and set tax rates. The changes aim to better align the budget submission process with the legislative session schedule.
