Complete·6/6/25

Nevada AB102 revises emergency medical services regulations, allowing certain health districts to regulate EMS and modifying licensing requirements.

Nevada AB102 amends existing laws to allow a district board of health in a health district that includes a county with a population between 100,000 and 700,000 to regulate emergency medical services within the district. It also modifies the eligibility criteria for obtaining a license as an attendant of an ambulance or air ambulance or certification as an emergency medical technician. The bill specifies that a person who is at least 16 years of age is eligible for such a license or certificate if they meet the qualifications and complete the required training.
