Nebraska LR9 recognizes the Wausa High School one-act team for winning the 2024 Nebraska School Activities Association Class D-1 State Play Production Championship. The team, under the direction of coaches Sheila and Brad Hoesing, earned a first-place finish with a score of seventy-eight points for their production of "Torn, the Seven Deadly Sins," written by Sheila Hoesing.
