Nebraska LR86 proposes an interim study on affordable and accessible housing for people with disabilities.

Nebraska LR86 proposes an interim study to identify and examine the state of affordable and accessible housing in Nebraska. The study aims to understand the current stock of affordable housing, existing programs, and prospective policies to support community living for people with disabilities. The Urban Affairs Committee will conduct the study and report findings and recommendations to the Legislative Council or Legislature. The study will cover the importance of accessibility, costs of institutional versus community living, and long-term effects of home injuries.
