Nebraska LR284CA proposes a constitutional amendment to change the voting age in Nebraska from eighteen to sixteen years. The amendment would allow citizens who have reached sixteen years of age by Election Day to vote in the calendar year they turn sixteen and in all subsequent years. The amendment would repeal Article VI, section 1, of the Constitution of Nebraska and be submitted to the electors in the manner prescribed by the Constitution.
