Nebraska LR19CA proposes a constitutional amendment to change the limit on legislative terms from two consecutive terms to three consecutive terms. This amendment will be submitted to the electors in the November 2026 general election. Service prior to January 1, 2001, will not count towards the term limit calculation. If a legislator serves more than half of a term, it will be counted as a full term.
