Introduced Text

Interim study on lead and environmental pollutants' impact on Nebraska communities' health and well-being.

Nebraska LR163 proposes an interim study by the Urban Affairs Committee to examine the impact of lead and other environmental pollutants on the health and well-being of Nebraska communities, especially in historically marginalized or economically distressed areas. The study will evaluate how exposure to pollutants correlates with increased rates of juvenile justice system involvement, lower educational attainment, and long-term negative health outcomes.
