Nebraska LB983 amends civil procedure provisions to allow defending parties to serve a summons and complaint on nonparties who may be liable for part of the claim. It also modifies deposition subpoenas to include details about the method of the deposition and witness compensation. The bill repeals and replaces sections 25-331, 25-1223, and 29-1901 of the Revised Statutes Cumulative Supplement, 2024.
