LB956

Nebraska LB956 mandates the collection and public reporting of salary and benefits data for Nebraska public postsecondary institutions.

Nebraska LB956 requires the Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education to collect and report salary and benefits data from public postsecondary institutions. The data includes average salaries by employee group, rank, and institution type, employer-paid benefits, and year-over-year changes. The commission must compile, verify, and publish the data annually, ensuring it is publicly available in an aggregated, searchable, and downloadable format. The data will not include personal information of employees.
