Complete·4/10/26

Allows physician assistants to enter into practice agreements with pharmacists in Nebraska.

Nebraska LB955 amends the Pharmacy Practice Act to permit physician assistants under collaborative agreements to enter into practice agreements with pharmacists. These agreements allow for the provision of pharmaceutical care according to written protocols. The agreements must be in writing, signed by all parties, and reviewed every two years. A copy of the agreement and protocols must be available for review by the department and sent to the Board of Pharmacy upon request. The agreements cease upon the death, loss of license, disciplinary action, or individual decision of any party.
