Nebraska LB919 amends state statutes to allow the use of durable accessible mediums for public records. It permits the recording of instruments and filing of documents using microfilm or other accessible durable mediums. Preservation duplicates made by photographic or similar processes are considered equivalent to original records. The bill also modifies the process for filing notices of lien, allowing electronic filing and storage of such notices.
