Nebraska LB672 amends the Nebraska Political Accountability and Disclosure Act to establish a $1,000 limit on contributions to candidate committees during an election year. Candidate committees must refund any contributions exceeding this limit within ten days and report the refunded amount on campaign statements. This limit does not apply to contributions made by the candidate themselves. The bill also repeals the original section 49-1401, Revised Statutes Cumulative Supplement, 2024, and replaces it with these new provisions.
