Nebraska LB614 exempts certain farm buildings from regulatory authority of cities and villages.
Nebraska LB614 amends the state statutes to exempt certain farm buildings from regulatory authority of cities and villages. Specifically, it allows cities of the first class to apply zoning regulations to farm buildings within their extraterritorial jurisdiction if they are consistent with the comprehensive development plan. Cities of the second class and villages can exempt farm buildings from zoning regulations if they are on a farmstead of at least twenty acres producing $1,000 or more in farm products annually.
