Nebraska LB59 allows natural resources districts to disburse funds using electronic payment systems.
Nebraska LB59 amends the Reissue Revised Statutes to allow natural resources districts to disburse funds using electronic payment systems, including electronic funds transfer and automatic clearinghouse transfer. The bill repeals the original section that limited disbursement to checks, drafts, warrants, or other written instruments signed by authorized officials. This change aims to modernize the financial processes of natural resources districts in Nebraska.
