LB561

Nebraska LB561 modifies restrictions on vehicles carrying raw milk, allowing higher weight limits.

Nebraska LB561 amends the Nebraska Rules of the Road to change maximum weight limits for vehicles carrying raw milk. The bill allows vehicles transporting raw milk from a dairy farm to a processing facility to exceed the maximum weight limit by up to fifteen percent, but not exceeding twenty thousand pounds. The bill also repeals the original section and declares an emergency, making it effective immediately upon passage.
