Nebraska LB560 amends the innovative tourism grants program for communities and organizations.
Nebraska LB560 repeals and replaces section 81-3725 of the Revised Statutes, changing provisions for innovative tourism grants. The Nebraska Commission on Tourism now develops a program to provide marketing assistance grants for national or international events attracting out-of-state visitors. The commission also provides innovative tourism grants for tourism promotion services, events, or attractions increasing nonlocal visitors. The commission must adopt rules governing these grant programs.
