LB52

Nebraska LB52 expands victim notification requirements for certain offenses.

Nebraska LB52 amends the state's victim notification requirements to include additional offenses. Victims must be notified by various state agencies about the status of convicted offenders. This includes notifications about parole hearings, release dates, and escapes. The bill specifies offenses such as assault, kidnapping, and sexual abuse. It also mandates that victim addresses and contact information be kept confidential. The bill repeals the original section and replaces it with these expanded provisions.
