Nebraska LB499 amends the Crime Victim's Reparations Committee's membership provisions. The committee will consist of five members of the commission and three public members appointed by the Governor. Two public members will represent charitable organizations providing services to victims of sexual assault, human trafficking, or domestic abuse. One public member will have training and relevant work experience with victims and survivors of crime. One member will be a victim. The committee will select a chairperson from among the commission members.
