Nebraska LB497 amends the state's education statutes to allow non-resident students to participate in extracurricular activities under specific conditions. The bill permits students who are not residents of the school district to participate in part-time enrollment and extracurricular activities if at least one parent resides in the district. It also allows homeless students to participate without charge if they are currently located in the district, attended when permanently housed, or were last enrolled there.
