Nebraska LB493 adopts the Uniform Public Expression Protection Act, which aims to provide expedited relief for civil actions based on public expression, such as communication in legislative or governmental proceedings, or exercise of constitutional rights. The court must rule on such motions within sixty days and may award costs and attorney's fees.
