Authorizes virtual inspections for certain residential building permits in Nebraska.
Nebraska LB441 amends the Building Construction Act to allow virtual inspections for residential buildings under three stories and ten thousand square feet. These inspections must be conducted live with both the permit holder and an authorized inspector. Inspection records must be made public if the building is standing. Nonstructural inspections can use video or photo documentation for reinspections.
